I competed in my first pageant four years ago and despite placing first runner-up, I never felt like my interview was my strong point. I wanted to change that, not only for the pageant, but for my own life skills. When I heard that Lauralyn was producing the Interview Me cds, I was thrilled and immediately knew that they were a great idea. As a busy mom of three young children, I didn't have a lot of time to sit around and ask myself interview questions. When I did do that, my mind would always wander to my grocery list, or what I should be cleaning, or what the weather was going to be like tomorrow. Yet, the Interview Me cds made practicing so easy and so efficient. While running quick errands in the car or while on a run (I was competing in a pageant, remember?), I would listen to Lauralyn's gentle voice asking me typical interview questions and I would instantly get into "interview mode". Only having 30 seconds to answer each question really reduced my habit of rambling. After competing in my second pageant, I was honored to learn that thanks to the Interview Me cds, the judges ranked my interview as my strongest area. Thanks so much Lauralyn for making the best interview practice product. The cds are perfect for anyone competing in a pageant or anyone who just wants to improve their interviewing skills.
